Robert Pattinson Announces Headmaster Holiday From Baton Rouge!

Robert Pattinson announces Headmaster Holiday!

Mr. Cobb. A vampire?….Well that explains why he doesn’t age. And if Edward Cullen (aka Robert Pattinson of the Twilight series) says so, it must be true. Mike, a three-sport varsity captain, and Neve, who does it all—they can’t be human. So Pattinson and Peter Berg ’80 decide it’s time to shut Taft down.

No one thought Headmaster Willy MacMullen could top last year’s Headmaster Holiday announcement. But director/producer Peter Berg came through yet again, filming a video message with Pattinson in a Baton Rouge cemetery.

Berg recapped his theme of unfairness from last year (headholiday09), reminding students that he didn’t have what they have at Taft now. “You guys are continuing to dominate, “ he says to the camera, “and I’m going to deal with it.”

The tradition of a Headmaster Holiday goes back more than a century, to the election of William Howard Taft, whose son was then a student. Knowing Taft’s son would want to attend the inauguration, Horace Taft declared the first Headmaster Holiday–allowing both Horace and his nephew to attend the ceremony.

“I love this tradition,” said MacMullen. “Every student and teacher needed a break from our labors, but the seniors needed it the most, and it is a really great class. Needless to say, when the film was shown, it was deafening! Peter Berg has directed another blockbuster hit! I thought we were going to have to call in the medics–several of the girls looked as if they were about to have a heart attack!”

Of course the stakes have been raised now. “To top this year’s video, I have a few requirements for the announcement of the headmaster’s holiday for my senior year,” middler Cassie Willson emailed the headmaster shortly after. “I’m going to need Paul McCartney in person in Bingham, and he will announce the day off and then pull me on stage to perform an impromptu concert for the school. You can make that happen, right?”

The Volunteer Council took advantage of the opportunity to remind students of the Red Cross blood drive today, with the posting “Edward Cullen wants your blood!”

22. Preparations

-   Alice, Cullen

“You need to calm down, darling. No one is going to care what we wear on Sunday night? It’s only a mere celebration of when the goblins and ghouls come out from underneath your bed,” I soothed. Jasper wound his arms around my waist tenderly and pressed his lips to my forehead; the sweet smell of his breath was intoxicating.

I rolled away from my catalogs and fell into Jasper’s arm’s where he pulled me against his chest tightly and kissed me feverishly. “I still have no idea what we are going to be though, it’s unacceptable,” I mumbled against his lips.

“I doubt you will have any goblin’s and ghouls under that bed the way you two knock it around all the time,” Emmett laughed loudly from the doorway, his face set in temporary frown lines from where he had been laughing so hard.

“Emmett,” I scolded. “What do you think you’re doing?”

“I just came in to observe how my baby sister and brother were getting on with my costume.” He walked in, crossing his arms around his large chest – although it was nothing compared to Jasper’s, in my own opinion (silent giggles).

Me and Jazz broke apart, where he departed to lean against the desk at the far corner in the room, my arms ached for his comforting touch once more. “Get out of here, Emmett, or I swear I will release the hounds on you,” I said, then grimaced at the thought of the wet dog smell lingering the house.

I swear Emmett has ants in his pants. If he was bored he would go and tease someone, he couldn’t wouldn’t sit still, like a vampire with good behavior! “What are they going to do, chew me to death?” He asked sarcastically.

“Just get out,” I pointed to the door forcefully. When he refused to move I pouched up and aimed one of my old feathery cushions from my bed and threw it in his face.

He was spitting out the feathers from his mouth while he growled and I felt like rocking in laughter, a small smile even played on Jasper’s lips. “I’ll get you back for that,” he hissed. “I’ll be spitting these out all day,” he spluttered, coughing out more feathers. “And my hair looks like a chicken coop,” he snarled, wiping away the excess feathers from his hair.

I shrugged and then ushered him out of the room, shutting the door loudly. Gah! If only vampire’s didn’t have super-hearing. I found myself once again in Jasper’s arms. “He can be so irritating.”

“I heard that!” Emmett yelled from the corridor.

I rolled my eyes sarcastically; Jazz continued to run his fingers through my hair leisurely while I lay my head in the crook of his neck as my fingers stroked the scars on his arms tenderly. To other people those scars would be symbolic of Jasper’s wild side, but to me each individual set of teeth that would be forever set into his skin – like clay forever being one shape – were a sign of his undying love for me.

“Don’t let him get to you, honey,” he replied in his addictive charming Southern accent that always made my toes curl – if that was even possible. “We’ll get him back somehow.”

I looked up into his darkened golden eyes, there was a simple weakness in my knee’s every time I looked at Jazz. It made me want to melt into water. I brushed my fingers softly against his cheek. “Do you have any ideas in mind, Mr Hale?” I questioned persuasively, fluttering my eyelashes.

“I may have a few,” he chuckled darkly.

“You must share them with me then, sir,” I crooned, pulling him closer so I could gently peck his lips in admiration.

His curled his arms around me instinctively, pulling us away from the desk and twirling me around in the air, my legs off the ground. His blonde hair tickled my face. “We should hunt first. Secondly, I have a surprise for you. You work too hard for your own good.” He kissed my nose and then picked up my hand and pressed his lips to it.

We walked into the closet and grabbed some clothes. Jasper put on a clean Marc Jacobs shirt, slipping on the diamond cuff-links with white gold – which I had bought for him last year from Tiffany’s – and a tailored jacket slung over his shoulder. What was the occasion? Before he left the closet he kissed my face, each closed eye and then my lips, lingering there for a few minutes as I wound my hands around his neck, never wanting to let go.

“Don’t be long, Mrs Whitlock,” he mouthed as I glided off to get ready. I was stunned into silence, he never called me Mrs Whitlock unless it was a very special occasion. I knew when he used his real last name it brought back vicious memories.

Hurrying to get ready I slipped on my black V-draped dress from Alexander McQueen – it was a wool dress with V-neck tailoring and hip draping – and my Christian Louboutin heels. If it was so special of an occasion I wasn’t missing out on dressing up.

When I found Jasper outside he wound his hand around my waist lovingly. “You look stunning,” he whispered into my ear, before taking my hand, then we ran off into the woods.

I wasn’t that thirsty so I caught a few elk who were feeding by the river; Jasper on the other hand tackled a mountain lion – circling it with the precise grace of an angel before sinking his teeth into its neck and cleansing his undying thirst for blood. When we had finished, all of our clothes intact – unfortunately Bella still couldn’t manage hunting without ripping her clothes so I always gave her some spare ones – Jazz’s eyes were back to the melted golden I adored. I cupped his chin and pulled his lips close to mine. “Is it time for my surprise distraction from my work yet?” I chuckled.

He pulled me up his arms gracefully. “Shut your eyes,” he mumbled.

I did as he told me and then I felt him running beneath me, the heels of my shoes clicking together as we flitted through the woods. The sun occasionally burst through holes in the canopy of leaves and it was hard to not open my eyes and stare at Jasper when his skin was covered with sparkling diamonds. When he stopped he covered my eyes further with his hands and led me into what felt like a clearing in the woods.

“Open your eyes, we’re here, my love.”

The clearing was stunning: thick branches of the tree’s obscured the sun from our path, a small waterfall murmuring in the background, small dabs of color bobbing in the water – they turned out to be lilies – red roses were scattered across the grass and in the middle of the clearing was a small blanket with rose petals peppered around, and on it. Small speakers where wedged into the grass not far off that were playing soft classical music. It was perfect. More than perfect. I noticed a silver tub with ice and a bottle chilling in it  – a wine bottle – and wondered if it was there to feed the romantic-effect. Vampires don’t drink wine, of course.

“Oh Jasper, I love it,” I threw myself towards him, wrapping my legs around his waist, my lips molded against his.

His lips then trailed down my neck to my collar bone, shivers tingling through my spine in spasms of pleasure. How could everything be so perfect? Jazz’s lips paused and then he lifted his head to my face, “I love you more than anything.”

“You have no idea how much I love you more,” I whispered, then closed both my hands around his face and returned his deep kiss.

When we had parted he led me to the small pond with the gurgling waterfall. “How come I haven’t seen this before?” I asked, examining how the light splintered against the water and it shattered off in different colors. I was awestruck.

“It wasn’t here before,” he laughed. “I made it just for you. Esme helped draw up the plans and then we got to work. Rosalie and Emmett helped.”

I clasped my hand tighter around Jasper’s fingers. “Emmett helped you. Well now he isn’t ever going to let off his sex jokes.”

“I paid him to keep quiet; do you want to go for a swim?”

“I – I have nothing to wear?” I replied aspirated, looking down at my dress. I couldn’t get it wet or damaged. It was a one-of-a-kind.

Jasper looked at me mysteriously and laughed quietly. “Don’t worry, I brought you your favorite,” he gestured to a pile of clothes by the water.

I pulled him closer, a mischievous grin crawling up one side of my lips. “Actually I have a feeling we won’t be needing them.” I danced my finger across his chest, making circle patterns.

“I was hoping you’d say that.”

When we had slipped into the cool water I was instantly entangled in Jasper’s embrace, the water glistening into thousands of different colors. He was kissing me pleasantly on the lips when I softly broke away. “How is this happening?” I inquired, pulling myself closer to him now.

“Esme’s idea. She had different colored gem’s installed into the rock when the foundations were put down for our pond, so when the light hit the pond occasionally it shatters back into a colorful light. Do you like it?”

“Do I have to tell you? This is unbelievable!” We kissed deeply and the rest of the day floated away in bliss. I can’t even describe how much everything washed away: it was all pleasure; happiness and the joy of having Jasper so close by. I couldn’t have asked for a better surprise.

Later:

When we were safely curled up in the blanket afterward, my mind was drown in Jasper. He was the only thing I could think about. I felt like I was drunk on the passion between us. He pecked my cheek before pouring us a glass of blood from the bottle, then he handed it to me gingerly. “How did you do this?” I asked lazily, my head on his chest.

“Carlisle,” he answered. “He helped me bottle the blood when I asked him if it was possible to do.”

“Ooh, how clever you are,” I laughed, kissing him gently on the lips again.

“The cleverness of me,” he retorted back in the happiest manner. “And Carlisle.”

We lay twined together for what felt like decades – if only it was! – but when the sun started to set I felt myself sink further into Jasper’s neck. Hysterically enough, I felt as if drinking the bottled blood had given me a sort of high, like a drug, and I couldn’t help but feel mischievous and a little devious. “Are you going to tell me how to get back at Emmett then?”

He turned his attention away from drawing patterns on my stomach contently, his honey-comb eyes boring into mine deeply. “Well, I may have a few ideas,” he rolled onto his back.

I leaned over his chest, my face above his, “You must share, you must,” I teased, kissing each and every scar from his throat down to his chest.

“So much for your preparation day for Halloween,” he mumbled almost silently.

I pulled my head up, “This was better.”

He grasped my face and we kissed passionately again, lost forever in our love. I’ll leave it at that. Use your own mind to imagine what happened next.

Author’s Note: Sorry for the delay in posting but my mind has been blank as to what to write in the past week, I think I’m to attached to Leah’s story, secondly life is so hectic lately I’ve had no chance to write what so ever. Lastly, I wish to say that since I’m off school for this week that I’m going to try and post from Alice’s point of view every day until Halloween. She had quite a bit to arrange before the big night!

MTV Guesses Which Characters The New ‘Breaking Dawn’ Cast Members Will Play!

Yesterday we released a brand new list of fresh new people who were added to the Breaking Dawn movie cast! (Click here if you missed it. To see all their pics click here). The only thing is, Summit didn’t state which supporting roles these new cast members would take on. Luckily, MTV has made an attempt to figure out who could be playing which character:

TY Olsson:

The 36-year-old actor best known for his work in “2012″ and “X2″ is a dead ringer for the balding, middle-aged attorney James Jenks that Bella deals with several times over the course of “Breaking Dawn.” He has a fairly important part in the story, so it makes a lot of sense that an established actor would be cast in the role instead of a newcomer, like some of the new vampires were. Keep reading after the jump to see the other seven actors cast and which of the remaining roles—Isle Esme employees? J. Jenks and associates? Volturi posse?—we think they’ll be playing.

Wendell Pierce:

A seasoned actor thanks to roles in “The Wire” and “Treme” who seems to match the vague description given for Jenks’s in-between man Max. He is described as having “crinkly black hair” and “dark skin” that was “smooth and perfect,” a contradiction to his teeth that were “white and straight.” Though his age isn’t given, it can be assumed that an older man (like Wendell) would be working for Jenks, and not someone younger.

Amadou Ly

Nahuel is described as having skin that is an “impossibly rich, dark brown,” “warm teak” eyes and hair that was “black and braided, too, like the woman’s, though not as long.” Amadou Ly might not have that hair in the pictures we’ve seen online, but the 22-year-old Senegalian actor definitely satisfies Nahuel’s description in every other way.

Carolina Virguiez:

It seems very likely that Hispanic actress Carolina Virguiez will be playing Huilen, who is (based on the information in the book) probably in her 20s or 30s and is described as a “small olive-toned female vampire with a long braid of black hair.” Since Huilen is Machupe, an indigenous inhabitant of south-central Chile and southwestern Argentina, Carolina seems like a perfect match, but she also could be playing Kaure, a Brazilian employee at Isle Esme described as being “a slight female” with a face “creased with lines.”

Head over to MTV Here to read all their guesses!
