“Well, in the last month, I’ve had a birthday, started a website, started “tweeting”, went to the premiere of my film, Battle: Los Angeles and vamped it up all over Baton Rouge and Vancouver filming Breaking Dawn. Now, as I wind down a busy start to 2011, I’m writing my first blog. Not being a “blogger” by nature and not sure my life warrants the detailed documentation, I have some trepidation. But, what the hey. I never thought I would get the hang of tweeting either.

Twilightish Interview With Judi Shekoni (Aka Zafrina)

She plays Zafrina in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn and the folks over at Twilightish got the chance to interview Judi Shekoni about the movies! Here’s an excerpt:

Twilightish: Being a newcomer to the ‘Twilight Saga’, how was it joining this tight group of friends?

Judi: I didn’t know what it would be like coming into a movie where people had already shot 3 films. It’s amazing. They have new people coming into every film, they’re used to it. It was great working with people who are established and know what is going on.

Twilightish: The Famous Fandom Question: Did you read the books or see the movies before you went for the part of Zafrina? If so, were you a fan of the series before?

Judi: I was already a big fan of Twilight. Waited for each book to be released, and read all four years ago. I knew about the project (film). I was a fan from the beginning when Kristen was announced as Bella. I love the series.

Twilightish: Zafrina is part of the Amazon clan with her two sisters, did you guys find instant chemistry on set?

Judi: I spent a lot of time working with Tracey Heggins (Senna),  people even thought we were sisters in real life! We hung out in hotel rooms, went to lunch and dinner with each other, became inseparable during the course of filming. We still call or speak with each other now, we definitely bonded really well! Being part of a coven made you part of a team.

What Scenes Will Be Included in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 Trailer

Twilight Examiner did a great breakdown regarding what could be included in the first official Breaking Dawn trailer which will air live June 5th at the MTV Movie Awards:

Last week, the President of Riofilme, the group which aided production on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 in Brazil this winter, shared a fragment of insight about what the first trailer for the film – expected to debut at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards on June 5th – might contain.

According to him, fans can expect to see four moments which were shot on location in Brazil. The ones which we know were shot in Brazil include:

• Bella and Edward strolling and kissing in the crowded streets of Lapa
• The two stepping onto a docked boat and taking off for Isle Esme
• Filming inside of Casa em Paraty (“Isle Esme” in the movie)
• Bella and Edward relaxing beachside
• Romance at the waterfall

There were a few others inside the Casa em Paraty location as well, of course.

Most of the official The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 photos released so far seem to be derived from some of the above-listed scenes, as many of you agreed, so it certainly makes sense that the first trailer focus might be on those . . . but what else could it contain?

Of the non-honeymoon stills, all have been wedding-oriented (i.e., the first-look at the Denali Coven, both times at the wedding; Jacob and Aro both reacting to their invitation receipts; and Bella and Alice prepping her make-up and hair). So, it’s certainly conceivable that some of the wedding will be involved in the trailer . . . but probably not too much.

The level of reveal for this will likely match what we’ve seen with the stills. Some portions of the wedding (imaginably, the dress, Edward in his tux, the vows, Bella and Jacob’s dance) will probably be reserved for later to serve as a surprise for the film itself. What portions would be unspoilery enough to show on-screen, I have no idea; but I’d be shocked if nothing of the event made it to the first trailer.
