10 Things We Know About ‘Breaking Dawn’ (Celebuzz)
Celebuzz has compiled a list called ’10 Things We Know About Breaking Dawn.’ Here is the info for those of you who might need to get caught up:
1. It pays. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will enjoy hefty pay increases, bringing in $25 million each for the final two “Breaking Dawn” movies.
2. The secret’s out. When “Breaking Dawn” takes its cast and crew to New Orleans and Vancouver, both towns (and the rest of the world) now know Rob and Kristen’s relationship is the real deal.
3. The script is AWESOME. Peter Facinelli aka Carlisle Cullen tweeted his enthusiasm about the twists and turns to come, saying: “I must say…AWESOME! Very excited.”
4. Bella’s birth scene will be “intense.” Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg says that when Bella gives birth to Renesmee, (who will be played by cutie newcomer Mackenzie Foy, at left) it will be as “visceral” as it is in the book.
5. We now know the actors cast for: American nomads, the Amazon Coven, the Denali Coven, the Egyptian Coven, the Irish Coven, the Romanian Coven and that Joe Anderson has been cast as European Nomad Alistair.
6. There’s a new bad girl in Forks. Former “Lost” star Maggie Grace will play Denali coven member Irina, who harbors a grudge against Bella and Edward’s daughter Renesmee.
7. It won’t be in 3D. Sorry Twi-hards, but action-packed wolf-on-vamp action (as seen at left) won’t come at you in eye-popping 3D. Thankfully, neither will Bella’s bloody birth scene!
8. There will be sex. We’ll keep it clean, but “Breaking Dawn” actor Jackson Rathbone has said he’s excited to see Bella and Edward consummate their eternal love. He’s not the only one!
9. Ashley Greene will be buffer. Edward’s soothsaying vampire sister Alice will be toned as ever, thanks to Ashley’s frequent trips to the gym!
10. This guy in charge: Bill Condon, the man behind “Dreamgirls” and a producer of the Oscars telecast, will direct “Breaking Dawn.” He’s the guy Robsten will thank at the MTV Movie Awards!

Breaking Dawn Movie Casting & IMDB Info!
The Breaking Dawn Movie begins filming in November, which isn’t too far from now – so it’s understandable that Twilight fan sites are being bombarded with questions regarding casting, film dates, locations etc. Twilight Lexicon put together a great list of info that should hopefully answer some of those questions:

Facts:
- Filming will take place in both Louisiana and Vancouver
- Production Weekly confirmed the dates of the filming in Louisiana
- Confirmed dates can change slightly due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances
- We can’t help you get cast. If we had any influence on production Edward would be driving the right car and Alphie and Pel would be playing the Volturi wives while trying not to drool on Michael Sheen. (Edit: SO true)
- Not sure how to break into the business? See Lana Veenker’s blog, there is good advice there and it’s free! Also see her advice on scams! If anyone tells you that you need to pay them money to get into a Breaking Dawn audition they are lying!
Unknown:
- What specific roles will be needed. In other words will some vampires be combined such as the Jessica/Lauren of Anna Kendrick’s character or the Eric/Ben of Justin Chon’s character.
- Will there be an open call for extras. (See past history)
- Will there be an open call for other parts. (See past history)
- Will they have an open call for Renesmee (in our opinion the part would be at least twins just to deal with child labor laws)
Past History:
- The original movie had vast calls for extras the others did not.
- The only open calls for speaking roles were for Native American/First Nations actors. Every other part, you needed to be in the business, with experience with an agent.
- We will publicize open calls as we have done in the past.
Now onto the IMDB. It’s like wikipedia, anyone can edit it. The day after Kristen Stewart was officially announced as Bella, the IMDB read that Emily Browning was rumored to play the part. A few months ago someone replaced Tinsel Korey’s name as Emily with actress Brenna Lee Roth, and Edi Gathegi popped back up on the Eclipse cast list. In a practical joke that had fans scurrying for the hidden meaning, Andrew of TwiSource decided to list that the tagline of New Moon was “Somewhere Bella’s Stove Is On.” So when you see things up their don’t put too much stock in them. Until a film actually starts filming the info up there isn’t always solid.
Now if you want solid extra casting info here’s something, it’s not Twilight, but it does potentially involve seeing Taylor Lautner. Check out this info if you are in the Pittsburgh area.

Breaking Dawn Movie : What We Know & What We Don’t Know So Far!

Amanda Over at Twilight Examiner compiled a list of things we know, and don’t know so far regarding the Breaking Dawn movie! For those of you who have questions, this should help you out with things that weren’t so clear before because of the scattered details about The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2:
Things We Do Know Right Now That Have Been Confirmed:
Two films: Breaking Dawn will definitely be split into two films, Part 1 and Part 2. There was a lot of talk about this decision beforehand and after the official announcement, but it seems that a lot of fans are in favor of the news.
Release dates: The release dates for both portions of Breaking Dawn have been announced as (Part 1) November 18, 2011 and (Part 2) November 16, 2012.
Cast: Right now, the cast includes those that are returning from Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (i.e., Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Peter Facinelli, Billy Burke, etc.).
Director: Both films will be directed by Bill Condon.
Producers: Stephenie Meyer, Wyck Godfrey, and Karen Rosenfelt will produce both films.
Filming locations: Breaking Dawn (presumably both parts) will be filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Filming dates: Production Weekly recently announced that filming would take place from November 1st until March 15th – at least for the Baton Rouge location. Gossip Cop also shot down rumors that there was a delay.
Things We Do Not Know So Far:
3D: It is not known yet whether one or both parts of Breaking Dawn will be shot in 3D. Producer Wyck Godfrey has spoken up to suggest that it is being considered, but no officially announced decision is available on the issue just yet.
Length: Run time on the films hasn’t been announced yet, and it probably won’t until post-production of the first at least.
Cast: Additional castmembers for Breaking Dawn (aside from those returning from the prior films) have not been announced, nor have any casting calls. Right now, IMDb has listed Xavier Samuel (who was “Riley Biers” in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) as a castmember for Breaking Dawn, but his character is killed in the events of Eclipse, so this would be unlikely (unless for flashbacks or photographic reference). Also, another actor has been added to IMDb’s page (Michael Avmen as “Eleazar”), but this is unconfirmed.
