Michael Welch Tweets That He’s Heading To Vancouver To Finish ‘Breaking Dawn’

Michael Welch (aka Mike Newton) has been Tweeting a little about Breaking Dawn today. He Tweeted that he loved the food in Baton Rouge, and that he was headed to Vancouver to finish off work on the Breaking Dawn movie. I think, in a way, the actors are starting to feel the end closing in on them. But, they still have lots of promoting to do in the upcoming years.

The website NessieMackenzie.com obtained on-set information regarding Mackenzie Foy from an unnamed on–set source. Here’s what they said about little Mackenzie (who plays Renesmee Cullen in the Breaking Dawn movie)

“I just love the way Mackenzie lights up the room. If it’s been a long day and everyone’s tired, she shows up and you can tell the atmosphere changes. The fam scenes with Robert and Kristen will look amazing on screen. They have a special connection, you know. She looks so much like them and they enjoy working with her, so that makes it easy. They love joking around between takes. Specially with Robert, he loves using the ‘daughter’ thingy. I’ve heard he’s been teaching Mackenzie some words, with the accent and everything, so funny. Kristen has found someone to share her ‘Miley Cyrus’ obsession with. And they both love pets, so they have a lot to talk about. Cuteness everywhere. But everybody loves her, she’s pretty smart for her age. It’s good to have a kiddo on set.”

Breaking Dawn Security News Update For Baton Rouge Set!

In the last week, Raleigh Studios has quadrupled their number of security personnel, reports Scene Louisiana. As we know, undercover journalists were able to ninja their way onto the Breaking Dawn movie set in Rio, but it looks like things got a lot tighter for the Baton Rouge set. More from the report:

Yesterday, Scene sat down Winston Achee at our office on the lot at Raleigh Studios to discuss the dramatic increases in security measures here. Achee is chief of security for the Celtic Corporation, which owns the studio facility also known as the Celtic Media Centre. Arguably the most high-profile film to ever shoot in Louisiana, part one of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn begins filming today on the lot at Raleigh Studios Baton Rouge at the Celtic Media Centre. It is the first part of the two-installment finale, set to hit theaters on November 18 of next year.

In the weeks leading up to Twilight‘s arrival, Raleigh Studios has been steadily implementing new security measures, including vehicle identification requirements and unique photo badges that authorized personnel must display at all times. But, by far, the most significant change is a 600% increase in the size of the studios own security force.

“We have increased our number of full-time security personnel from six to twenty-four in the last week,” says Achee. “That’s just the beginning of the ramp-up. We’ll be adding two to four more every week.” Rather than hire harmless security guards, these new additions are mostly veterans of Louisiana police forces and sheriff’s departments.

In addition to the direct hires, another twenty man force has been added as well. “So, we’ll have on property at all times a forty-eight man force. We are not taking security on this property lightly,” Achee says.

The high profile project also brings its own high profile security. In addition to the personal body guards employed by stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, the production itself employs additional security. “The security that the production has brought doubles our own force,” says Achee.

Booboo Stewart Heading to Baton Rouge!

Booboo Stewart, who will play Seth Clearwater in the Breaking Dawn movie, just Tweeted that he’s heading to Baton Rouge tomorrow! I’m so happy that we’ll get a chance to see more of Booboo in Breaking Dawn – he was hardly in Eclipse. Here’s his Tweet:

Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Finish ‘Breaking Dawn’ Honeymoon Scenes & Leave Brazil Tomorrow!

HollywoodLife has the latest on the Breaking Dawn filming schedule for the honeymoon scenes. They report:

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are saying goodbye to Brazil. The on-and-off-screen couple has been in Paraty, Brazil, all week to film the “Isle of Esme” honeymoon scenes. HollywoodLife.com spoke with a source close to production who revealed that Breaking Dawn producers rented the house for 22 days at the end of October, but Rob and Kristen are leaving the tropical paradise Nov. 13 by helicopter.

“It took the production crew 10 days to change the house to the way they wanted it [for the film],” our  source tells us. “Then they spent five days filming scenes and now they will spend the next five days changing the house back to the way it was before.”

Several fans tweeted Nov. 9 that Rob and Kristen filmed the highly-anticipated “feather scene,” in which Bella wakes up covered in feathers after losing her virginity to Edward.

Though we know Rob and Kristen are leaving Brazil, we’re told they aren’t going straight back to Baton Rouge, La., to film more Breaking Dawn scenes. Our source says Rob and Kristen are “making a stop in LA” before returning to their private love nest!

Knowing those scenes are shot, and that we can’t view them for so long… is TORTURE!!!

A Breaking Dawn Extra Shares Her Lapa Filming Experience

A lucky extra on the Breaking Dawn movie set generously shares her experience from the set! He name is Luisa and she is behind Rob in the below pic.

“After centuries of waiting, Rob and Kristen arrived around midnight and stayed on another street makes up and talking while rehearsing with stand-ins and extras. I went to see a little corner of what they were doing, and I saw Rob sitting on the hood of the car as a child laughing and talking with Kristen. I died inside, but I had to control myself to not give the flag. It was forbidden to photograph or videotape footage or anything of the set.

After the test, when the recording would begin in earnest, we were instructed not to look at pros players (“They’re normal people who only speak English and have more money”) or speak with them. Obviously I do not follow any of these rules, but neither was shocked as I saw a girl doing (she was removed from the set). The only song that played during the scene was a samba that was not boring, was only (imagine hearing the same boring music for 6 hours. While I was dancing, Robert and Kristen were passing by my side and right the first time, he inadvertently stumbled into me and I do not know why I apologized. He turned and smiled at me, so pretty!  When they finished that first scene, after kissing in the street, I stood there watching what they were talking. Kristen said something to the director, analyzing the scene, saying what you think and what they should redo. After each decision she did, always participating, giving advice and sometimes asked to rebuild the same scene. Bill Condon attaches great importance to her opinion and she seemed very participatory, very involved, as if to make it perfect. I do not understand who says she is not even there for Saga, because from what I saw, every scene in the movie has a little finger of Kristen, a review of it.

Well, the end of the first scene, after Kristen went their views to the director, she and Rob were talking while the production people were setting up everything to save again. So I, who was standing near, said: “Kris, you rock!” She turned to me, looked at me with shining eyes and smiled! I won my night with that smile!

Every time Kristen was going back to the front to back the recording, she took off her shoe heel of a shoe and put Bella Keds any color (red, purple, yellow …) and used to walk down the street. Since she was doing this, nearly fell and held on Rob. Speaking of Rob, they were holding hands all night, did not let go! Even after the “cut” with the cameras off, they were holding hands, patting one on the other hand, Robert was holding on tight to the waist and Kris pulled her close to him … Kristen has come to bite the hand of Rob once kidding. How well she was unsure over the jumps, was clutching a shirt from Rob (as she did in the premiere of Eclipse in LA, has several pictures) and leaning on it. Later that night his shirt was already crumpled to hold both it and twist! They are very affectionate with each other, always caressing, smiling at each other and making jokes. See them kissing in front of me a million times, even for the characters, it was wonderful! In some they blew kisses, have caught it, Rob pulled her hair gently and put up ‘accidentally’ hand on the ass of Kris.

The Bella’s engagement ring was very shiny, I think they have changed, or gave a polished, because it was beautiful! I also noticed the scar, I do not know how I managed to look the pulse of Kris, and she was in front of me, but I noticed!
After the shoot, when Robert and Kristen were already leaving, I spoke with John. He is super cute and was embarrassed when I said that the Brazilian fans of Kristen adored him, but gave a big smile and thanked him. In that, Kristen was looking and started laughing, then gave a bye-bye with a cute smile before leaving for good, and Rob too.
You could get very close to them during the shooting, near absurdly, insanely close. It was the happiest day of my life!”
