Saturday night (April 9th) the cast and crew of the Twilight Saga celebrated Kristen Stewart’s Birthday – as well as the end of shooting the films – in a big joint wrap party.
Filming for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 & The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 is now complete.
So here we are at the end. For us fans, we still have a lot coming our way with the final two films over the next two years. On top of the films being released, we also have all the press that will take place prior to, and after, their release. There will also be DVD/Blu-Ray promotion for the films.
However, we can’t help but feel the journey coming to an end. It’s been a fun one and I know all of us Twilighters are incredibly pumped for these final two films!
This is where we’d like to thank everyone who has worked so diligently on these films since 2007. From the cast and crew to, of course, Stephenie Meyer: Thank you!
Mandy’s Mind is reporting that they could possibly be doing Breaking Dawn movie re-shoots for the water part of the honeymoon scene in Florida. Here’s what she’s reported:
This is not confirmed, but it seems Breaking Dawn may spend a day or two in Florida to shoot.
I first heard this a few days ago when someone told me there were some re-shoots of the honeymoon water scene that needed to be done. The lighting was off from original shoot. NO location given just that they had to re-shoot some of it.
Yesterday someone else told me the same thing but that they were shooting them somewhere on Vancouver Island.
Now this seemed absurd, even in the summer our waters are quite chilly, but in April? FREEZING!
Then today I was talking to someone who told me that while booking talent for WFE release parties Rob was unavailable for particular dates because he was in Florida for Breaking Dawn and Reese was already in Europe for WFE promotion / junket (with Rob joining her right after his Florida shoot.)
I asked another friend who is usually “in the know” and was told Florida honeymoon scenes were indeed scheduled.
So, based on all this it SEEMS there may be a day or two shoot right before Easter weekend in Florida…. No one mentioned a city, and I can’t confirm 100% this is correct, but for now it seems likely just based on the number of separate people saying it.
Time will tell for certain but Florida peeps keep your eyes and ears open…. Just in case!
Like always, until there’s confirmation we’ll assume it’s just a slim possibility. As always, TheBreakingDawnmovie.org will keep ya updated!
Though he’s not allowed to give much more away (joking with Ryan Seacrest recently that he gets ‘beaten’ for revealing details), Pattinson promises that Breaking Dawn will be “very different to the other films – more like a horror film.”
“Just some of the source material makes it inevitably more different. It’s completely nuts, the book.”
Water For Elephants opens on May 4. For more on the film grab Total FilmMagazine on 14 April.”
According to Fanbolt, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are set to start filming scenes for Breaking Dawn at Vancouver’s historic Orpheum Theatre:
“Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will be filming scenes from Breaking Dawn next week in a historic Vancouver location, the Orpheum Theatre. Breaking Dawn crews are scheduled to begin prepping for the scenes tomorrow, and Pattinson and Stewart are expected to arrive around 5:30am Monday morning.
Ouch! Sometimes when you hear those early call times, they don’t make the industry seem so glamorous, do they?
A source commented saying, “They will be filming in the lobby and using the balcony areas. The ceilings are very ornate in the lobby and many movies have been filmed in there. They will also be using the hallways because of the beautiful architecture.”
After Pattinson and Stewart wrap the scenes at the theatre, they’re expected to film additional scenes on Monday on Vancouver’s Beatty Street. So watch out Vancouver, Breaking Dawn is all around you!”
We received word from Summit Entertainment that production for Breaking Dawn has been delayed due to the current tsunami warning from the earthquake that hit Japan. All cast and crew members are safe and sound, and as a precautionary measure have been evacuated from where they were filming in British Columbia to the production base camp. Hopefully they can resume filming soon, and that any further devastation from this tragic earthquake can be kept to a minimum.
Summit Entertainment has conformed to Twilight Lexicon that JD Pardo has been officially cast to play the role of Nahuel in Breaking Dawn. You ca view JD’s IMDb page here for more pics and past projects.
Jackson Rathbone attended the Dare2Care Pre-Oscar Cocktail party last night (February 24th) and gave E! Online some juicy Breaking Dawn deets regarding the Edward and Bella consummating their relationship:
“It’s definitely sexy,” Jackson Rathbone told us at Leeza Gibbons‘ Dare2Care Pre-Oscar Cocktail party of Edward and Bella’s highly-anticipated onscreen love-making. “It definitely qualifies as shmexaaay.”
“It’s a PG-13 movie, but also it is what it is and it’s a union,” Rathbone said. “They are consummating their relationship and they don’t just do it once, let’s put it that way.”
Rathbone also assures us we’ll be seeing lots of that signature Rob and Kristen chemistry in the flick.
“Oh yeah,” he laughed. “It sizzles, man. It sizzles like bacon!”
Actress Christie Burke is rumored to play teenage Renesemee in Breaking Dawn. This has not yet been confirmed by Summit Entertainment, but we will keep you updated. I have added spoilers (under a spoiler cut) below regarding the scenes the actress who will play teenage Renesmee Cullen will star in.
Christie apparently gets to make out with Taylor Lautner in a flash-forward to Jacob and Renesemee living happily ever after…
Whether this is a Bella flash forward or when Jacob first imprints on her (as previous rumored Lainey script deets detailed a Jacob/Renesemee montage) will remain to be seen.
According to her representation, Performers Management Christie is 5′7, has hazel eyes, brown hair (though her pic totes look more auburn) and weighs 115lbs (plenty light enough for Jacob to spin her around in throws of adoration, etc).
P.S. I threw this comparison together quickly and have to say, YES! Amazing fit!!
