Breaking Dawn Star Casey LaBow Designs 3×1 Bespoke Jeans
Breaking Dawn movie‘s Casey LaBow (aka Kate Denali) got to design a pair of Bespoke Jeans. Here’s some coverage of the process:
LaBow kicked off the process by trying on pairs of 3×1′s limited edition jeans ($295 to $445). She quickly decided on a skinny style with decorative zippers: “A sort of Balmain pant—let’s call them Barely Balmain? Baby Balmain?” With that in mind, the 3×1 team drew up a pattern based on her specifications.
LaBow conferred with the patternmaker on her dream jeans. “Am I losing my mind if I put zippers on the leg too?” she asked. “I want zippers on the inside of the leg, so I can keep that zipper partially open.”
