Summit Confirms Ty Olsson To Play Renee’s Husband in the Breaking Dawn Movie

Almost two months ago Summit Entertainment announced a large list of supporting actors for the Breaking Dawn movie, but they didn’t specify which characters each actor would play. You can see the list we posted here.

Now Summit Entertainment has confirmed that Ty Olsson will be playing Phil Dwyer, Reneé’s husband and Bella’s step-father in the film.

Phil was very briefly in the original Twilight, however he was played by another actor named Matt Bushel.  Ty will be taking over the role for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

Now lets hope they announce who some of the other supporting actors will play!
